on JETLAGSFORMØRKELSE by Yahya Hassan (2021-2022)

Performance based on the soundtrack of the poem "JETLAGSFORMØRKELSE" recited and written by Palestinian/Danish poet Yahya Hassan (1995-2020). The scansion of these verses lies somewhere between Q'ranic reading and rap music. Here, the performer follows the verses and slowly detaches them with his guitar. The heterogeneity of reality is expressed: migratory conditions, ghettoization, condemnation of Israeli colonization in Palestine and Islamophobia.
